Our Client is currently looking for an Mechanical Estimator to join the team in their team in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate has come up on their tools and has a minimum of 3-years estimation experience as well as a blended knowledge of both wet and dry on the mechanical side.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • At least 3 years of field experience in mechanical construction, industrial and commercial
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience with using estimation software and bidding projects on the piping side of mechanical
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel periodically

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Identifying, measuring, quantifying and calculating different aspects of a project design to determine how to input this date in estimating software
  • Input data into estimating software using standardized methods
  • Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Monitoring the costs at different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated budget
