What You Will Be Doing

Based out of North Charleston, SC, our client is one of the States premier electrical contractors specializing in Heavy Commercial and Industrial Electrical work. We are looking for a Senior Estimator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate has come up on their tools, has a background in heavy commercial and industrial estimation; and has an admin level knowledge of Accubid for database management.

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 5-10 years of field experience working in a variety of commercial and industrial setting.
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with tight deadlines.
• Experience with Accubid Estimation Software as well as database maintenance to ensure accurate, quality bids.
• Experience completing bids on projects up to $50MM+.
• Experience completing bids across a range of industries including aviation, Water and Sewage, Heavy Commercial and industrial.
• Experience managing a team of estimators.

Other Essential Functions 

• Identifying, measuring, quantifying, and calculating different aspects of a project design to determine how to input this date in estimating software.
• Input data into estimating software using standardized methods.
• Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
• Serve as a mentor for the greener members of the estimating department.
