Business Development Sales
As a Business Development Sales Professional, you will be prospecting and setting appointments with customers in commercial and industrial settings to provide HVAC mechanical maintenance service solutions within a specific territory.
Job Duties
- Commercial and Industrial Business to business (B2B) sales
- Heavy prospecting to identify new customers within commercial and industrial settings
- Follow a sales process
- Sell value and position service benefits to win contracts
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective sales plans across assigned territory
- Fill and maintain a robust sales pipeline for mechanical preventative maintenance services
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to target and conduct sales calls with key decision-makers
- Schedule and conduct discovery meetings within target business segments to uncover customer goals and provide tailored programs to meet customer goals
- Perform onsite review of mechanical equipment (training provided)
- Develop solutions to meet customer needs
- Develop preventative maintenance agreement price estimates for operational and customer reviews
Qualifications
- Proven success in prospecting and appointment setting in the commercial and industrial space
- 3 or more years of experience in business-to-business sales
- Proactive, goal-oriented sales professional with proven discipline to work independently
- Self-motivated and success driven
- Accountable for performance
- Effective time management skills to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to influence decisions at all levels in an organization
- Respond effectively to customer requests, resolve critical issues, and meet all commitments in a timely manner
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Professional demeanor and positive, caring attitude
- Complies with and promotes company Safety Policy
- Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
Compensation
Salary Plus Commission
Range Starting at: $75K+ / yr. based on qualifications & experience
