Job Summary:

The Electrical Division Leader will be responsible for overseeing the Electrical Department within the company, which includes managing a team of Senior Project Managers, Estimators, and the Virtual Construction team. The successful candidate will be a strong leader, with exceptional communication and organizational skills, and possess a background in commercial and industrial electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the Electrical Department, including the Senior Project Managers, Estimators, and Virtual Construction team.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that they have the resources, skills, and training required to deliver their work effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
• Develop and implement strategies for business growth, identifying new opportunities and markets for the Electrical Department.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure effective project delivery and optimal use of resources.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that the Electrical Department remains at the forefront of innovation and technology.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role within the electrical industry.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team to achieve their goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Ability to travel to project sites, as required.
