Service Managers direct day-to-day field service operations and are responsible for much more. Our Service Managers are in the field with Technicians on a daily basis – coaching, teaching, and engaging at a high level to help drive an exceptional safety culture, deliver unbelievable customer care, talent development and business growth.

What you will do:

  • Spend each day as a “boots on the ground” leader and serve as a dynamic leader in the field
  • Lead a team of talented service technicians in a challenging, fast-paced service environment
  • Drive operational excellence and achieve goals through day-to-day management (i.e., reporting, inventory control, technical support, service coordination and scheduling processes)
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with current customers and work with both current and potential customers to qualify service needs; develop estimates that will grow our business in the region
  • Focus on development of the team, through exceptional coaching, teaching, and caring
  • Guide a culture that demonstrates that safety is the top priority; teach and practice behaviors that show critical thinking in safety to prevent injuries

What we are looking for:

  • Current or previous leadership experience
  • Industry related Service Manager or Service Supervisor experience
  • Master’s level commercial HVACR service experience, including troubleshooting and repair of related controls
  • Accomplished in developing high performing service teams through coaching, motivating, recruiting, and performance management
  • Skilled in developing commercial HVAC maintenance and service estimates
  • Possess Universal EPA Certification
  • Possess professional HVAC license (preferred, but not required)
  • Ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions, and expectations
  • Knowledge of business and financial principles and reporting
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, service and work order software, and internet
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to provide innovative solutions
  • High energy level to handle a dynamic, evolving, and fast-paced workload
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
