What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Safety Manager to join our team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors. This role requires expertise in construction safety regulations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to promote a safety-first culture.
The Ideal Candidate
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams in implementing effective safety measures throughout all project phases.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety requirements and best practices.
- Conduct safety orientations for new hires, educating them on company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging safety practices, and share relevant information with the team.

Other Essential Functions
- Minimum of (5) five years of experience in field safety, experience in construction and/or industrial safety (mechanical trade experience) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, or related field of study, from an accredited college or university.
- Experience overseeing a safety program for multiple sites, simultaneously.
- Current OSHA 500 credentials
- Current OHSA 510 certifications, strongly preferred
- Highly knowledgeable of current safety and loss control practices
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, local and company safety regulations
- Certified First Aid / CPR Trainer
- Clean driving record
