Company Overview: We are a leading mechanical contractor in the Houston, Texas market, specializing in providing top-notch mechanical preventive maintenance services to a diverse range of commercial and industrial clients. Our services cover various sectors, including healthcare, education, government, manufacturing, distribution, and data centers. As we continue to expand our market share and client base, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- New Customer Identification: Identify and target potential customers within commercial and industrial settings to secure new maintenance agreement contracts. Focus on key sectors, including healthcare, education, government, manufacturing, distribution, and data center
- Sales Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement effective sales plans for the assigned territory to support sales quotas and increase market shares. Qualify and source new business opportunities to fill the sales pipeline with potential maintenance service agreements.
- Marke Research and Trend Analysis: Continuously evaluate target market sectors and stay up to date with industry trends, identifying opportunities before they become public knowledge.
- Sales Lead Generation and Tracking: Utilize sales tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to generate leads and track activities, including prospecting, cold calls, walk-ins, and scheduled visits.
- Customer Engagement and Tailored Programs: Schedule and conduct discovery meetings with potential customers to understand their goals and tailor maintenance programs to meet their needs effectively. Proactively prepare for customer meetings, setting clear objectives, asking pertinent questions, and defining action items.
- Relationship Building and Sales Calls: Build strong partnerships with key decision-makers, including C-Level executives, facility engineers, plant managers, maintenance supervisors, general contractors, architects, and developers. Conduct sales calls with key decision-makers to position our company as a premier Mechanical Service Provider.
- Equipment Needs Analysis and Solutions Development: Perform on-site reviews of current mechanical equipment to analyze potential customers’ needs and develop suitable solutions.
- Sales Proposal and Closing: Develop preventative maintenance agreement price estimates for customer reviews. Consistently obtain and close sales on a monthly basis, meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
- Networking and Industry Engagement: Attend association events, trade shows, and other client-related gatherings to engage with decision-makers and identify new business opportunities.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, including prospecting, lead generation, and sales presentations.
- Previous sales experience within the construction or mechanical service industry, including subcontractors, general contractors, and equipment maintenance/retrofit providers, is advantageous.
- Prior specialized sales training, such as Sandler Sales Training, Miller Heiman, or similar, is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other document management software.

- Must pass a full background screening, drug screening, MVR check, and physical ability test.
- Physical ability to stand, climb a ladder to a roof, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs.
