Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic young programmer with a strong background in mechanical design and controls integration for our nuclear medicine industry projects. Join our team to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders in designing, developing, and integrating advanced mechanical systems with control technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced mechanical systems with integrated control solutions.
- Create detailed control designs, including conceptualization, layout, and prototyping from engineered drawings.
- Generate controls schematics and wiring diagrams using MS Visio.
- Participate in design reviews, offering insights to enhance functionality, efficiency, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements in terms of cost, quality, and timelines.
- Maintain and update design documentation, including technical specs, assembly instructions, and user manuals.
- Execute controls component development and integration, utilizing Computer-Aided-Design concepts.
- Apply expertise in building controls systems.
- Assist in all facets of building controls, encompassing engineering control drawings, configuration, programming, startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience with Honeywell, KMC control devices, and Niagara software is advantageous.
- Apply company engineering, software point database, and graphic standards for all construction project work.
- Grasp schedules, costs, and contractual commitments for assigned projects.
- Represent E-Solutions professionally and responsively to customers.
- Provide project programming and system checkout as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technical writing and verbal skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to discern customer needs for project specifications and scope development
- Proficiency in reading and understanding engineered mechanical and electrical drawings
- Skill in interpreting and implementing specifications
- Building automation system experience
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams toward shared objectives
- Proficient in MS Office (Primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel) and MS Visio
- Two or four-year degree, or equivalent education/experience demonstrating a solid understanding of electrical components, computers, networks, and control systems, with emphasis on direct digital control systems.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Honeywell or KMC controls
- Background in the Nuclear Medicine industry
License/Certifications/Education:
- OSHA 10/30
- Tridium N4 Certification or equivalent
