Fixed Center HVAC Specialist (Central Time zone location)

Position Summary

We are seeking an individual located in the Western United States to support our operating companies in the Pacific and Mountain Time zones. The role of the Fixed Center Technical Specialist is to create and drive adoption and utilization by the field employees through responding to needs and adapting the process and platform accordingly.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Develop content for technology platform Aquant · Update and maintain information (various manuals and technical documents) and merging to technology platforms · Receive inbound calls and distribute support and intellectual property knowledge to the field employees · Create and drive adaption and utilization in the field by responding to needs and adapting the process and platform · Assist with the development and implementation of methodologies to improve service levels and overall operation efficiency · Assist technicians with the troubleshooting and resolution process · Effectively communicate with field employees · Experience with Daikin, Train, York, Carrier, AAON, Goodman and other manufacturers · Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned

Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications

10 + years of experience in HVAC field · Working knowledge of a variety of operating systems and platforms · High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) · Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities, resourcefulness, and strong problem-solving skills · Excellent communication skills with a focus on meeting needs and expectations within time-sensitive settings

Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude · Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter. · Requires basic mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language skills. · Complies and promotes company Safety Policy · Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed (and approved) · Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to X lbs. · Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening · Ability to pass MVR check · Ability to pass a physical ability test · Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
