Salary: $45-$50 an hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Centrifugal & Air Cooled Chiller Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal and air-cooled chillers in various industrial and commercial environments.

Responsibilities:

Install centrifugal and air-cooled chillers according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting belts and motors.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chillers, such as mechanical failures, electrical malfunctions, and refrigerant leaks.

Conduct tests and calibration procedures to ensure chillers operate within specified parameters.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements while working with chillers, including proper handling of refrigerants and electrical safety procedures.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Provide training and support to other technicians or facility staff on chiller operation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of centrifugal and air-cooled chillers.

EPA Universal

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
