Job Summary: Join a prominent leader in the construction sector renowned for excellence in project delivery and financial management. We are actively seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Coordinator to enhance our financial operations team. As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our finance department with responsibilities ranging from processing invoices to managing collections and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Process and manage invoicing for various projects including Time & Materials, Lump Sum, and Guaranteed Maximum Price contracts.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of vendor and subcontractor lien waivers.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure billing accuracy and transparency.
  • Efficiently update job data and financial forecasts in our COINS accounting system.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies in billings and collections in a timely manner.
  • Handle customer inquiries and follow up on additional documentation and information as needed.
  • Undertake additional finance-related duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • High School Diploma or GED; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar role in the construction industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with COINS or another comprehensive ERP system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, with strong capabilities in Excel (Pivot Tables, Sum Functions, VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all organizational levels.
  • Independent work style and strong personal accountability.
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
