What You Will Be Doing

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in our organization by leading and mentoring a team of two recruiters. This position will primarily support our client in High Point, NC, and will involve a hybrid work arrangement, with some on-site presence required. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in talent acquisition within the construction industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build strong client relationships.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two recruiters, ensuring they meet their individual and team goals.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the client to understand their staffing needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create accurate and compelling job descriptions and requirements.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Other Essential Functions

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of recruiters.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing techniques, and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with some on-site presence required in High Point, NC.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
