Program Manager: for HVAC Retrofit Installation oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific HVAC retrofit projects. This role involves coordinating with multiple teams, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and meeting project deadlines. The Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that retrofit installations are completed efficiently and effectively, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budgets, and timelines.
- Identify and assess project risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, and installation teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.

Team Coordination:
- Lead and manage project teams, including HVAC installers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring that project milestones are met.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures as necessary.
- Prepare financial reports and updates for senior management.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all installations meet company standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain project integrity.

Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates on project status, address client concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Gather client feedback post-installation to identify areas for improvement.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and correspondence.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete and properly filed.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on HVAC or construction projects.

Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and installation processes.

- Ability to visit job sites, which may require walking, climbing, and navigating various terrains.
- Comfortable working in different environments, including construction sites and office settings.
Work Environment:
