We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our dynamic team. If you have a robust background in sheet metal work, with a passion for excellence and teamwork, you might be the perfect fit for this role.

Essential Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of four years in commercial sheet metal work.
• Ductwork Expertise: Proficient in various types of ductwork, including TDF, Pittsburgh, snap lock construction, TDC, Duct Mate, 22mm, 35mm, S & D, Spiral, Duct Board Fiberglass, and FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic).
• Knowledge: Extensive understanding of local building codes and basic OSHA and ADOSH safety requirements.
• Equipment and Fabrication: Familiarity with shop equipment, basic shop layout, and fabrication principles.
• Blueprints and Layout: Proficiency in duct system layout from blueprints and elevation setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and Execution: Efficient planning and pre-planning, ensuring meticulous execution of ductwork projects.
• Oversight: Manage the duct detailing function, including ordering, coordinating, and inspecting materials to ensure project timelines are met.
• Coordination: Coordinate ductwork with other trades, schedule subcontractors, and equipment deliveries.
• Supervision: Oversee the installation of ductwork, accessories, and related materials. Set and monitor daily and weekly installation goals.
• Inspection: Conduct daily inspections for installation quality and safety, enforce quality standards, and ensure code compliance. Inspect assemblies and installations to confirm they meet specifications and SMACNA requirements.
