Job Title: Mechanical BIM Specialist

Location: West Jordan, UT

Employment Type: 3-6-Month contract with possible extension

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Mechanical BIM Specialist in West Jordan, UT for a 3-6-month contract position. This role requires expertise in Revit and Trimble layout technology to manage mechanical systems in commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and update mechanical BIM models using Revit software.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to coordinate mechanical systems.
• Utilize Trimble layout to shoot precise points for field installation.
• Ensure models comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Perform clash detection and provide solutions to ensure seamless project integration.
• Support quality control processes to maintain BIM model integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a BIM Specialist or similar role in mechanical systems design.
• Proficiency in Revit for mechanical modeling and project coordination.
• Expertise in shooting Trimble points for layout and field installation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, project workflows, and construction standards.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in commercial and industrial mechanical projects.
• Familiarity with other BIM tools.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
