What You Will Be Doing:
- Organize and manage new hire set-up, including technology and workspace, from offer acceptance to the first day of employment.
- Design and implement a comprehensive new hire training program, covering the first 30 days and continuing through the first full year.
- Train all employees in utilizing the Workday Learning System or similar platform.
- Assess and validate training needs by consulting with management and subject matter experts.
- Administer and assist in the development of training programs across the organization.
- Maintain and update the training system, tracking the skills progression of each employee.
- Research, analyze, and enhance training materials and establish processes to improve the training curriculum.
- Certify and re-certify employees for safety training, forklift operation, and other essential certifications.
- Provide guidance to supervisors and employees in planning job-related career development programs.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- At least 2 years of experience with the Workday Learning Platform or a similar training system.
- Knowledge of HVAC or Construction industries (preferred).
- Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and guide employees at all levels.
- Experience in assessing training needs and developing effective training programs.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for employee development and process improvement.
Other Essential Functions:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through on all tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training software systems.
- Ability to research and apply new training techniques to keep the company’s training programs current and relevant.
