STRUCTURAL SUPERINTENDENT

The Structural Superintendent is responsible for directing the manufacturing of HVAC structural frames, ensuring timely and efficient production. The Superintendent will promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, keeping management and employees informed on operational status and progress towards production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Oversee employee productivity and provide positive feedback and constructive coaching and counseling as needed.
• Monitor employee time and record keeping accurately.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports.
• Adhere to manufacturing build schedules.
• Increase production output through the application of lean principles.
• Manage employee hours to complete orders under budget.
• Review drawings to ensure production feasibility.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team.
• Effectively troubleshoot and resolve production issues permanently.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing process flow, including identifying bottlenecks and constraints.
• Knowledge of structural steel processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hands-on approach, with 90% of time spent on the production floor.
