Job Summary:

Piping Superintendent is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, managing manpower performance and productivity, and developing professional field teams through comprehensive training. This role is critical in leading the execution of piping projects, overseeing project schedules, safety, and quality, while fostering teamwork and long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend early site meetings, review documents, and assign foremen for each project.
• Ensure accurate mobilization of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with CADD to meet job site drawing and detailing requirements.
• Verify material specifications and dimensions to ensure they fit within physical constraints.

• Conduct twice-weekly visits to all job sites under your supervision.
• Monitor project schedule, man-hours, and pre-planning activities to ensure alignment with contract requirements.
• Track and oversee rentals and equipment for each job.

• Review foremen’s timecards, work plans, daily logs, and safety reports.
• Collaborate with PMs to resolve job issues and monitor project progress.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain company safety standards.

• Manage employee performance, conduct reviews, and handle employee
• terminations or commendations.
• Facilitate training opportunities and maintain a balanced workforce with a proper ratio of helpers.

Job Site Responsibilities:

• Ensure punch-list items and coordinate equipment start-ups.
• Conduct weekly reviews of Job Cost Reports and track project budgets.
• Maintain high standard of installation quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Promptly resolve customer concerns to maintain long-term positive relationships.
• Represent the company in a professional manner to customers, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Propose cost-effective solutions.
• Proficient in calculating proportions, percentages, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle variable situations effectively.
