Job Title: Field Safety Coordinator

What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Create and maintain safety protocols that comply with OSHA regulations and company standards.
- Conduct Site Safety Audits: Perform regular site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Train and Educate: Provide comprehensive safety training to employees and contractors, ensuring everyone is equipped to work safely.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive actions.
- Promote a Safety Culture: Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and teams to foster a proactive approach to workplace safety.
- Maintain Safety Documentation: Keep detailed records of safety meetings, audits, and incident reports.
- Ensure PPE Compliance: Monitor the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment and other safety tools.
- Stay Updated on OSHA Regulations: Continuously monitor regulatory changes to ensure the company’s compliance with the latest standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in Construction Safety: Proven experience in commercial construction, mechanical construction, or general construction safety practices.
- Certified in OSHA Standards: Holds an OSHA 500 and/or 501 Certification in either the 1926 Construction Industry or 1910 General Industry standards.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish: Ability to communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking teams (required).
- Detail-Oriented and Organized: Capable of handling multiple tasks and maintaining thorough safety documentation.
- Strong Communicator: Skilled in conducting safety training and collaborating with diverse project teams.
- Problem Solver: Able to investigate incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Passionate About Safety: Committed to creating and maintaining a safe workplace for all employees.
Other Essential Functions:
- Emergency Response: Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and ensure preparedness on all job sites.
- Safety Equipment Management: Ensure that all safety equipment is available, maintained, and used properly.
- Incident Reporting: Timely and accurate reporting of all safety-related incidents, near-misses, and hazards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with site management, employees, and contractors to implement safety solutions.
- Compliance Tracking: Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards to mitigate risks.
