What You Will Be Doing
- Perform Inspections: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment.
- Diagnose Issues: Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems, determining the best repair methods.
- Repair and Replace Parts: Replace or repair faulty components, including gears, engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical parts.
- Conduct Safety Checks: Ensure all cranes operate in compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards.
- Maintain Records: Keep detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: Proven experience as a Crane Mechanic or in a similar role (3+ years preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Problem Solver: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Safety Focused: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to crane operations.
- Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Certifications: Certification in crane maintenance or heavy equipment repair is a plus.
