Key Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous, efficient support to all end users via phone, email, in person, or through the help desk ticketing system.
  • Manage and troubleshoot local IT infrastructure, including hypervisors, network switches, routers/firewalls, and backup servers.
  • Configure and deploy hardware and software for employees at operating companies.
  • Act as an escalation point for L1 team members and a de-escalation point for the L3 team.
  • Lead technical efforts for local and regional projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and address support requests in the L2 Team queue daily.
  • Collaborate with peers and management to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-5 years in an end-user-facing troubleshooting role; experience supporting remote users at multiple locations is preferred.
  • Education: Associate degree in a computer-related discipline required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant technical certifications will also be considered.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with IT infrastructure, including hypervisors, network switches, routers/firewalls, and backup systems.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and peripherals.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems and support escalation processes.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project-oriented environment.
    • Effective verbal and written communication of technical and complex information.
    • Proactive identification of trends and recommendations for technical solutions.
