Job Title: Senior Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC systems, a commitment to excellence, and leadership aspirations to grow into a Service Manager role. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, air handlers, rooftop units, and ductless systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional service, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Train, mentor, and oversee junior technicians to uphold quality standards and ensure safe operations.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation for compliance and client reference.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and regulatory changes to implement effective solutions.
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities for additional services and system upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial HVAC service, repair, and maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and associated components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and digital reporting systems.
  • Willingness to pursue professional growth opportunities and transition into a management role.

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Atlanta, GA.
