Job Description: General Liability Claims Administrator
Location: Houston Corporate Office (Hybrid/Remote Options Available)

Position Summary
We are seeking a General Liability Claims Administrator to support the Senior Counsel in managing general liability, professional, pollution, and property insurance claims. This role involves maintaining a comprehensive claims database, assisting operating companies with claim settlements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and deadlines. You’ll play a vital role in securing and summarizing key documentation, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and promoting company-wide awareness of claims processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update a claims database for general liability, professional, pollution, and property claims.
  • Assist operating companies in settling claims and provide guidance on claims procedures.
  • Secure, review, and upload claim-related reports and summaries.
  • Proactively assist the Senior Counsel in managing deadlines, deliverables, and invoices for insurance claims.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal teams and third-party carriers.
  • Serve as a backup for the Senior Counsel on general liability matters.
  • Review vendor invoices for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience: General liability claims handling required; multi-state claims knowledge preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Excel, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, professional, and responsive in communication with clients and team members.

Working Conditions

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday.
  • Travel: None required (0%).
  • Location: Houston Corporate Office and/or remote.
