About the Role
Are you ready to power up your career? We’re looking for a Generator Technician to join our team, where you’ll play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical generators for critical facilities. As a hands-on problem solver with expertise in engines and electrical systems, you’ll ensure that vital power systems stay operational.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Setup: Install generators, make electrical connections, set up fuel supply, and perform load testing to ensure readiness.
- Scheduled Maintenance: Conduct inspections, change oil and coolant, replace filters, belts, and hoses, and ensure optimal generator performance.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including components like control systems and voltage regulators.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards to prevent hazards and properly dispose of materials such as oil and filters.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and recommendations for upgrades or repairs.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, provide cost estimates, explain work completed, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Emergency Response: Participate in on-call rotations to address power outages and quickly restore operations.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided!).
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to handle equipment and lift heavy items occasionally.
Preferred:
- Certification in generator maintenance or equivalent hands-on experience.
