Job Title: Senior HVAC Technician
Location: Rural Hall, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for commercial clients. The ideal candidate will be a technician that has strong experience with boilers, chillers, split systems, package units and has worked on VRF systems. They will have the ability to walk in any building and determine whether the control system is responsible for the unit not running. They will be able to determine if the Building Automation Systems ( BAS) is responsible. This technician should have 10-12 years of hands-on experience and hold the necessary certifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including VRF, boilers, chillers, rooftop units, and refrigeration.
- Provide senior technical support to other Service Technicians, guiding them through complex issues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by conducting follow-ups and addressing any concerns.
- Lead or delegate tasks effectively when needed, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Attend project meetings and assist with technical and logistical planning.
- Be available for emergency situations and flexible with hours when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration experience.
- HVAC and brazing licenses, EPA or Universal Refrigerant License, and Type 2 or Universal Refrigerant Certification.
- Chiller and boiler certifications are a plus.
- Strong technical background with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment like recovery machines and combustion analyzers.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Able to manage, lead, and motivate a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and scaffolds.
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform shift work.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must provide basic hand tools.
Pay Range: $35-$45+ (Depending on experience)
