Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain Dashboards: Design and build interactive Power BI reports that visualize key business metrics.
• Data Modeling & Transformation: Create efficient data models using Power BI, DAX formulas, and Power Query (M Language) to optimize performance.
• Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance the efficiency and speed of reports through data compression and query tuning.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and leadership teams to understand reporting needs and define KPIs.
• Security & Governance: Implement role-based access controls (RLS) and maintain data security best practices.
• Automation & Process Improvement: Utilize Power Automate and other tools to streamline reporting workflows.
• Documentation & User Training: Provide clear documentation and training to enhance Power BI adoption across teams.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• 2+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M Language).
• Experience working with SQL databases (querying, optimizing, and managing large datasets).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
• Ability to design visually engaging, user-friendly reports for business users.
• Experience implementing role-level security (RLS) and access controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Power Automate, Azure Data Services, or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting languages for advanced data processing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based BI tools (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
