Financial Accounting Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to support our corporate property and casualty insurance program and assist in risk management, claims analysis, and policy compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in finance, insurance, or accounting and excels in data analysis, loss forecasting, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in corporate risk management, including policy renewals, claims processing, and coverage assessments.
- Work with insurance brokers, actuaries, and captive insurance managers to analyze risk exposure.
- Review loss run data, insurance cost allocations, and deductible charges.
- Support compliance, regulatory reporting, and surety bond programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to onboard acquisitions into corporate insurance programs.
- Stay informed on industry trends, risk mitigation strategies, and insurance regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, finance, or commercial insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel several times per quarter.
