Trimble Operator
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate field layout using Trimble Total Station and robotic total station equipment.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, CAD drawings, and BIM models.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure precise layout execution.
- Assist in quality control by verifying installed locations align with design specifications.
- Maintain Trimble equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Document layout data and generate field reports.
- Support project workflow by troubleshooting technical issues related to Trimble systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Trimble Total Station or similar robotic total stations.
- Background in piping, plumbing, or mechanical field layout preferred.
- Strong computer skills with experience in AutoCAD, Revit, or Trimble software.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Some experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Knowledge of GPS surveying and construction layout principles.
- Previous work in large-scale commercial or industrial mechanical projects.
