Controls Engineer
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Type: Full-time | On-site
About the Role:
As a Level 3 Controls Engineer, you’ll work independently on small to mid-sized automation projects and assist in executing large-scale systems. You’ll be hands-on with PLC/HMI programming, system integration, and commissioning.
What You’ll Do:

Develop PLC and HMI programs for industrial automation applications

Perform system debugging, testing, and commissioning

Create and review electrical schematics and layout drawings

Collaborate with team members on multi-disciplinary projects

Provide field support for installation and startup activities
What You Bring:

4+ years of experience in controls engineering or automation
-
Proficient with Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and/or Siemens
-
Solid understanding of industrial control hardware and instrumentation
-
Experience with commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline
