Job Title: Primavera P6 Scheduling Lead

Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Employment Type: Full-Time 

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Primavera P6 Scheduling Lead to oversee and manage the development, maintenance, and execution of cost-loaded project schedules for high-profile initiatives . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Primavera P6 and a proven track record of successful project scheduling, execution, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of integrated, cost-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6

• Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), baselines, and schedule elements for the entire project scope

• Coordinate with subcontractors, project managers, and team members to define scope, deliverables, and timelines

• Monitor and report on schedule performance, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders

• Train and mentor junior schedulers and project team members in scheduling best practices

• Support client relationships by preparing and delivering professional presentations, updates, and proposals

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, with a strong focus on Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

• Deep understanding of P6 architecture and functionality

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis

• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a client-focused mindset

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• U.S. Citizenship required; must pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government or DOE projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

• Certifications in Primavera P6 or related project scheduling disciplines
