Vice President of Operations

We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Operations to oversee the execution of high-impact, large-scale industrial construction and maintenance projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring project performance, team development, and long-term client success.

️ What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end construction operations for direct-hire industrial projects.
- Promote and enforce a top-tier safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, and field cost tracking.
- Mentor project managers and field leadership, creating a high-performing, accountable team culture.
- Drive process improvements to boost operational efficiency and project outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Oversee change order processes, invoicing, and project cash flow.
✅ What You Bring
- 15+ years of progressive experience in industrial construction operations.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role, ideally within a direct-hire contractor environment.
- Strong background in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and large capital projects.
- Industry experience in pulp and paper or chemical processing is highly desirable.
- Expertise in project delivery within industrial sectors such as power, chemicals, manufacturing, or life sciences.
- Proficiency in project management tools, ERP systems, and reporting platforms.
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Certifications like PMP, OSHA 30, or equivalent are a plus.
