HVAC Service Technician
Location: Ridgeland, MS
Job Type: Full Time/Weekly Pay/Benefits
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 based on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and/or commercial clients. You will work closely with customers to ensure their systems operate efficiently and meet performance expectations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and perform necessary repairs
- Install, maintain, and service HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation units
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system performance
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client concerns clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service notes and repair history
- Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations
Qualifications:
- EPA Universal Certification – Required
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation, service, and repair
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and best maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with both residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Familiarity with HVAC diagnostic tools and software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls daily

Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- On-call rotation and overtime may be required during peak seasons
