Construction Engineer- Taylor, TX
We are seeking a Construction Engineer to join our team, supporting one of the most advanced semiconductor projects in the world. This role will split time between the field and office, ensuring seamless coordination across project execution, safety, quality, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage job site activities with general contractors and subcontractors, focusing on schedule, safety, and quality.
- Review drawings, specifications, and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and contractual standards.
- Conduct site checks to confirm work is performed to contract scope, budget, and schedule.
- Generate RFIs, RFAs, construction plans, and progress reports for coordination with GC and client teams.
- Apply OSHA standards and identify/correct safety non-compliance.
- Review monthly progress payment documents and approve contractor payments.
- Participate in emergency response as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in architectural/construction fields preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of project management and document tracking systems.
Preferred Experience:
- Bilingual (English/Korean).
- Semiconductor, commercial, or industrial building construction.
- Reinforced concrete (RC), steel structures, and interior finishing works.
