About the Role:
We’re hiring a CAD Technician to support engineering and design teams by preparing technical drawings, revising layouts, and ensuring accuracy in construction and manufacturing documentation. This is a great opportunity for entry-level CAD professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and update 2D/3D CAD drawings based on design specifications and engineering redlines
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance
- Maintain drawing databases, file systems, and version control
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, layouts, and schematics
- Participate in design reviews and help incorporate feedback into updated drawings
What You Bring:
- 0–2 years of professional CAD experience (internships/co-ops count!)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required; experience with Revit, SolidWorks, or similar software is a plus
- Understanding of basic drafting principles, engineering terminology, and construction or manufacturing workflows
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Associate’s degree or certification in CAD, Drafting Technology, or related field preferred
Bonus if You Have:
- Familiarity with cleanroom, industrial, or mechanical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications or blueprints
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a technical design team
