Mechanical Construction Assistant (Mechanical or High Purity Piping)

This role offers comprehensive health coverage, and paid time off, We’re seeking a bilingual professional (English and Korean required) who can bridge communication on complex projects and keep both the paperwork and the site running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project paperwork and site management.
  • Review specifications and shop drawings.
  • Coordinate engineering issues with design teams to ensure compliance with specifications and owner requirements.
  • Monitor and report on construction progress, including schedule and measurement tracking.
  • Manage progress and schedules for fabrication and installation.
  • Communicate project status to project management, clients, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and assist in welding work for contractors as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical or high-purity piping construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID.
  • Experience with chemical piping (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency with BIM, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Navisworks.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean (required).
