Field Service Technician I and II

Location: 100% Travel – Domestic & International
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $65,000-$90,000 annually (Depending on Experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled and motivated Field Service Technician’s I and II to join our team. This role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems at client sites. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and project management teams to ensure systems are properly installed, tested, and documented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems

  • Read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings

  • Create accurate red-line drawings and field documentation

  • Perform or oversee quality control (QC) checks as needed

  • Compile and transmit critical O&M (Operations & Maintenance) information

  • Assist in preparation of IOM (Installation, Operation, and Maintenance) manuals

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and client personnel

  • Train factory personnel and support production assembly when required

  • Travel extensively to job sites (domestic and international)

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience

  • Field experience in construction, startup, and maintenance

  • Ability to work independently in the field

  • Safe driving record

  • Willingness to travel 100% (Domestic & International)

  • Ability to obtain OSHA 10, NFPA-70E, or similar safety certifications

Preferred:

  • HVAC trade school, apprenticeship, or military/technical background

  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, ASME codes

  • Experience with PLCs or building control systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Project)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally; light physical effort required

  • Regular sitting, crouching, bending, and repetitive motion

  • Visual and hearing acuity required for field diagnostics and data analysis
