HVAC Service Technician – Stationary Facility-Based
�� Location: Greer, SC
�� Full-Time | Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hour (DOE)

Join a trusted partner in HVAC, controls, and maintenance solutions, supporting a large commercial facility as a stationary HVAC Service Technician. This is a great opportunity for skilled HVAC professionals seeking stable, long-term work with a respected industry leader.

Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair DX systems (up to 100 tons), packaged AC units (up to 150 tons), water source heat pumps, and other commercial HVAC systems.

• Diagnose and repair gas-fired and electric heating systems, pneumatic/electronic controls, and air handling equipment.

• Perform system startups, monitor operations, and make necessary adjustments to valves, pumps, and controls to maintain efficiency.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including coil cleaning, belt replacement, and duct inspections.

• Evaluate site conditions, escalate unresolved issues, and ensure proper documentation.

• Maintain clear communication with dispatch, check in daily, and receive work orders for the following day.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, Trade School graduate, or GED.

• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (Type I or Universal) required.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC experience, preferably within large facilities.

• Hands-on experience with one or more chiller systems: Air-Cooled, Water-Cooled, Screw, Scroll, Centrifugal, or Absorption.

• Strong attendance record and flexibility for on-call weekend rotation.

• Clean, professional appearance and attention to detail with tools and company assets.

• Commitment to safety protocols, including defensive driving.
